Motorcyclist dies after multiple-vehicle crash on Lee Highway
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- A motorcycle driver has died after a serious crash on Lee Highway Saturday afternoon.

According to Chattanooga Police, a Chevy Avalanche was on South Lee Highway waiting to turn left onto Ooltewah Ringgold Road.
The Harley Davidson was on North Lee Highway in the right lane passing heavy traffic.
CPD says that the driver of the Chevy made a left turn as the Harley Davidson entered the intersection causing the motorcycle to hit them and eject the motorcycle’s driver.
The crash caused the Chevy to hit a third car, a Toyota Rav 4.
The motorcycle driver was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police say that a passenger of the Chevy Avalanche had to be extricated.
The driver of the Toyota Rav 4 was not injured.
CPD says that the driver of the Harley Davidson died from his injuries later Saturday night.
He was 51-years-old.
