Murder charge dropped to manslaughter in plea deal
CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – A local woman has accepted a plea deal in the death of a man two years ago.
Gercara Laquandra Robinson was originally charged with the second degree murder of James Stallion.
But last week, she pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of voluntary manslaughter.
As a result of the deal with prosecutors, she avoids jail time.
Robinson got four years of probation instead.
