Murray County murder suspect captured near Kentucky
Brandon Wiseman was wanted for shooting in Chatsworth, chased in Englewood, captured in Helenwood, TN
HELENWOOD, Tennessee (WDEF) – Law enforcement caught a murder suspect from northwest Georgia Tuesday night near the Kentucky line.
Brandon Neil Wiseman was arrested in Helenwood, Tennessee, up Highway 27 in Scott County.
The Scott County Sheriff says he was in an abandoned house.
He was wanted in Murray County, Georgia for a fatal shooting Sunday morning near Chatsworth.
Wiseman was spotted later in the day and then chased in Englewood, Tennessee in McMinn County.
He was with his sister, who gave up to police. But Wiseman escaped.
But US marshals, TBI and local authorities finally caught him around 7:30 PM in Scott County.
