Music City Bowl Feels Like ‘Redemption Bowl’ For Tennessee

The Vols might want to rename the Music City Bowl the ‘Redemption Bowl’.
Tennessee is hoping to redeem themselves after their last trip to Nashville against Vanderbilt.
UT lost to their in-state rival 45-34.
That setback likely cost the Vols a trip to the Sugar Bowl.
You would imagine the players might see or hear some reminders of that game around town, so Tennessee is hoping for a better outcome in Nashville against Nebraska.
Said quarterback Josh Dobbs:”Obviously it left a bad taste in our mouth from the last outcome. We’re anxious to get back on the field. Get back out there competing, and the goal is to come out with a ‘W’.”
Said defensive back Todd Kelly, Jr:”Last time we were in Nashville we really left with a bad taste in our mouth. Just to have the opportunity to play in a bowl game. Have an extra game to make sure we show everybody what University of Tennessee football is all about. It’s very important.”
