NAACP questions why some votes may not have been counted

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – An elections mistake caused ballots from dozens of voters to go uncounted.

Now, Officials with the NAACP say they have “grave concerns.”

The civil rights organization sent a letter to the state election coordinator, and the Hamilton County election coordinator.

In the letter they say, quote, “The fact that eligible voters’ ballots were potentially not counted for the past few years presents a larger problem that requires further investigation.”
