National Memorial for the Unborn holds special service for Sanctity of Human Life Sunday

Chattanooga, Tenn. (WDEF) — A group of Tennessee Valley residents is remembering the unborn.

They gathered at the National Memorial for the Unborn for Sanctity of Human Life Sunday.

Residents here say they’re remembering the lives of children lost through abortion or miscarriage.

There are thousands of names on the memorial walls.

“It gives them an opportunity to acknowledge the national day today, to acknowledge the value of all human life from conception all the way to death, and there’s lots of components of that,” says Kent Hubin with the National Memorial for the Unborn for Sanctity of Human Life.

Hubin says they may have held a special service today, but the memorial here is open 24/7.
