NBA DFS: Luka Doncic and top picks for Feb. 27 FanDuel, DraftKings daily fantasy basketball lineups

Twenty-two of the league’s 30 teams will be on the floor Wednesday, Feb. 27, creating a huge 11-game NBA DFS main slate that gets underway at 7 p.m. ET. Steph Curry, James Harden, Karl-Anthony Towns, LeBron James and Anthony Davis are some of the most expensive options for contests on FanDuel and DraftKings. You won’t, however, be able to afford all of them due to salary cap limitations. The key will be to find the top NBA DFS picks that can return value at all different price points. And before locking in any NBA DFS lineups of your own for Wednesday’s slate, first check in with DFS pro Mike McClure. He’s won almost $2 million in his career and his NBA DFS advice and optimal lineups can help your roster separate from the pack in NBA DFS tournaments and cash games on 2-27-19.

McClure is also a predictive data engineer at SportsLine who uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every minute of every game 10,000 times, taking factors like matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account. This allows him to find the best NBA DFS values and create optimal lineups that he shares only over at SportsLine. They’re a must-see for any NBA DFS player.

McClure is absolutely rolling through the 2018-19 NBA season, producing multiple optimal lineups that have led to huge returns for followers, including as much as 40x on FanDuel and 84x on DraftKings.

For Wednesday’s NBA DFS slate, McClure is extremely high on Mavericks rookie Luka Doncic at $9,800 on FanDuel and $9,300 on DraftKings. Doncic continues his campaign for NBA Rookie of the Year honors in 2018-19 as he enters play on Wednesday with 20.9 points, 7.2 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game.

And while those numbers are impressive, he easily topped all of them on Monday against the Clippers, going off for a 28-10-10 line that included a 4 of 6 performance from beyond the arc. He’d missed the prior two games with an ankle injury, but showed no rust from that, so confidently lock him in as top NBA DFS pick for his matchup against the Pacers this evening.

Part of McClure’s NBA DFS strategy includes targeting Timberwolves guard Tyus Jones at $5,300 on FanDuel and $4,500 on DraftKings. Jeff Teague (knee) is questionable for tonight’s matchup against the Hawks, leaving the door open for extended minutes for Jones, a player who has gone off for more than 35 points on FanDuel in consecutive games. If he handles a majority of the point guard duties, he’s in line to return huge value tonight against an Atlanta defense that is ranked dead last in the NBA (118.2 ppg).

McClure is also targeting a player who is in a prime spot to explode for huge numbers on Wednesday. The stars are aligning for him to return 50, even 60 points on both sites, and he comes at a lower price than you would expect. This pick could be the difference between winning your tournaments and cash games or going home with nothing.
