New and exciting things happening at the Tennessee Aquarium
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Tennessee Aquarium is kicking off the 2026 summer season with plenty of exciting events to help make the best of your visit.
Coming up on Friday, June 12, the Tennessee Aquarium is partnering with the Chattanooga Lookouts for a special Conservation Night game. The baseball players will be wearing special jerseys, there’s fireworks, and special educators will be giving lessons on conservation efforts.
They also have welcomed a new addition, a baby lemur! The endangered Red-collared Brown Lemur was born on April 23 and will be on exhibit soon. For those curious about the name, a special baby shower gender reveal is coming up and the aquarium is asking the public to vote on names!
For those stopping in the Chattanooga area for a day, spend it at the Tennessee Aquarium and Rock City with a special combo pass. Tickets are sold only online with adult tickets starting at $64. These tickets are available now through September 13.
Lots of exciting films are coming to their IMAX theatre, including the return of their 70mm film projector for Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey.”
