New details about alleged burglary committed by man accused of stealing Chattanooga Public Works vehicle
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – We’ve learned new details about the man accused of stealing city of chattanooga vehicle Saturday morning.
A Chattanooga Restaurant owners says Evan Elmore could be seen on surveillance video breaking into Champys on MLK hours before his arrest in Cleveland.
Seth Champion says that Elmore cooked 30 wings, ate a key lime pie and another strawberry cake… All while drinking a beer as well.
Champion says he stole koozies and several dollar bills that are displayed on the wall.
He is also facing charges for stealing a City of Chattanooga vehicle that was tracked by its G-P-S to Cleveland, TN Saturday morning.
According to Cleveland Police officials, Elmore was found with a bag believed to be marijuana.
He will appear in court Monday morning on the a Simple Possession charge.
Charges are pending in Chattanooga. No word yet on when he will be transported to Chattanooga.
