New Flooring Plant Coming to Northwest Georgia.. Sometime

Dalton (WDEF) – The Dalton Daily Citizen reports that Engineered Floors will build another carpet tile manufacturing plant in northwest Georgia.

But the where and when are still up in the air.

The Dalton based company has expanded quickly since its birth in 2009.

They have two thousand employees working at plants in Calhoun and Dalton.

On Tuesday, the company released a statement saying they are "finalizing the site selection process" for their next plant.

There has been speculation that it could be coming to Murray County.
