New jobs coming to Sequatchie County
SEQUATCHIE COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — Big Valley Brands is expanding its manufacturing in Dunlap, investing over $1 million.
Officials said the expansion will create 30 new jobs in the county. In addition, it will bring the company to roughly 50 employees total.
Big Valley Air will create a new 17,000-square-foot facility at its existing location on Little Ponderosa Trail. Officials said this facility will house the company’s entire parachute manufacturing. It will also allow Big Valley Air to increase its production and customer base.
Big Valley Brands is headquartered in Dunlap, and was founded just two years ago. Their products are tailored toward sport jumpers and militaries across the globe.
“Tennessee is the number one state for companies to thrive thanks to our strong business climate and highly skilled workforce,” said Governor Bill Lee. “I congratulate Big Valley Air on its expansion in Sequatchie County and am confident this investment will positively impact Tennesseans across the region for years to come.”
