New Life Force Technology Could Save Lives
Jason Clark, a Clinical Educator with Life Force, says, "We want to be able to take the hospital to the patients’ side as soon as we can."
Life Force also purchased new cardiac monitors to record patients vital signs.
All together, they spent more than $280,000 on new equipment.
Since they consider themselves an extension of Erlanger Health Systems, Erlanger helped foot the bill.
Clark adds, "Many of the patients that we treat are time critical patients, and if we can get this life saving equipment to their side quicker, in the pre hospital setting, they’re going to have a better outcome."
The goal is to use this new equipment on the helicopter, so when patients get to the hospital, they don’t have to wait on certain tests.
Doctors can treat patients’ off the images and information Life Force already collected.
Clark adds, "This equipment brought to the field will definitely provide more positive outcomes for our patients and save lives."
Life Force is confident lives will be saved in Tennessee and Georgia as well.
Life Force says every helicopter gets the exact same equipment.
