New, local team taking over Hixson’s Valleybrook Golf Club

HIXSON, Tennessee (WDEF) – The Valleybrook Golf and Country Club has new owners.

Local real estate company Urban Story Ventures has taken over the golf course and club on Hixson Pike.

The new owners are promising to reinvigorate the course and club.

Valleybrook was one of the first 18-hole residential golf course communities in the country.

It has hosted nine PGA our events along with nationwide tournaments.

The club is now semi-private but the new owners plan on changing the membership program as they add new amenities.

Urban Story Ventures President Jimmy White is leading the development.

Not only does he have a history in golf course and commercial real estate development, he’s also a pro golfer, himself.
