New Principal Named for Cleveland Middle School

CLEVELAND (WDEF) – Interim School Director Cathy Goodman announces a new princicpal for Cleveland Middle School.

Dr. Leneda Laing will take over the school on July 1st.

She has been the assistant principal at the school for the last four years.

Dr. Laing is a National Board Certified Teacher and was awarded the Presidential Award for Excellence in Teaching Mathematics.

Mrs. Goodman stated, “Her strong background in curriculum and instruction and extensive middle school experience will contribute to the rich tradition of academic excellence at Cleveland Middle School.”
