Murder Charge Dismissed in Donnie Brantley Case

A Bradley County murder trial ends before it even starts. As of Monday morning, the charges against Donnie Brantley have been dismissed. He was accused of murdering his wife Marsha in 2009, but her body was never found. Neighbors reported her missing. Last August, Brantley was indicted, and this week his trial was supposed to start. But, as News 12's Alisha Searl found out, there was conflict among the district attorney's office that prevented the case from being prosecuted.

A Ringgold man who shot and killed a teenager on his property has died. It happened last November. Fred Youngblood shot and killed Dalton McConathy, 17.
