Nickajack Port Authority wins grant for Marion County industrial site

Before a community can land a big new development, they have to have the land to pitch.

That’s why Tennessee hands out site development grants.

And one project in our area has landed one of the latest grants announced today.

The Nickajack Port Authority has won $100,000 for their industrial site in Marion County.

They will use the funds for what they call “Due Diligence” at the site.

The Nickajack Industrial Site is next to the river in New Hope.
