No evidence Joe Lawson lives in Hamilton County, DA Johnson says

The report is in on a Republican candidate for mayor of Meigs County.

Joe Lawson won the party’s nomination to take on County Mayor Eddie Jewell on August 6th.

But his own party asked the District Attorney to investigate whether Lawson was still a resident of the county.

DA L. Russell Johnson says he has looked into the case and cannot find any evidence that Lawson now lives in Hamilton County as alleged.

So, Lawson remains the Republican candidate for mayor of the county.
