News 12 This Morning: Gloria Moser with The Grayson Foundation joins News 12’s Amelia Greer to highlight the importance of pediatric cancer awareness and spread the word about a new Tennessee license plate in the works. They need your help to reach their goal for pre-orders!
CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF) — A foundation for pediatric cancer victims and survivors in Bradley County is now hoping to spread awareness to an even larger demographic– the roadway.
The Grayson Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in memory of Grayson Moser.
He was a student at Cleveland High School who died at the age of 16 from a pediatric brain tumor.
Since then, his parents Chris and Gloria Moser are on a mission to help others in the Cleveland community.
They provide financial aid to families in Cleveland who have a child currently receiving cancer treatment.
Now, they are looking to expand their reach to across the state.
Registration for a specialty license plate is in the works for Tennessee drivers.
The Grayson Foundation is partnering with the American Childhood Cancer Organization to make this happen.
Tennessee requires 1,000 pre-orders to make the tags.
So far, they have sold just under 200.
You can pre-order online to learn more about the ‘Childhood Cancer Awareness Specialty License Plate.’
