North Georgia GSP Chase leads to Arrest

WALKER COUNTY, GA (WDEF) – A attempted traffic stop on Sunday morning led to a chase in North Georgia.

It started around 9:40 a.m. in Walker County.

GSP says a trooper was attempting to pull over a vehicle for a tag violation. The driver James Robert Taylor according to GSP did not stop, leading to a pursuit on HWY 136 toward Camp rd.

The chase ended on HWY 341, where Taylor fled on foot.

Taylor was found and arrested on Boss road at around 11:40 a.m. He has been taken to the Walker County Jail.
