NW Whitfield Quarterback Luke Shiflett Done For the Year With Broken Ankle
Northwest Whitfield senior quarterback Luke Shiflett has seen his high school football career come to an early end with a broken ankle.
He suffered the injury last Friday night against Heritage.
This season Shiflett threw for nearly 800-yards and ran for close to 400-yards.
Last year as a junior, the Bruins dual-threat quarterback threw for over 2,300 yards with nearly 800 yards rushing.
Shiflett has verbally committed to play college ball at MTSU.
