Officials have identified the people killed in Dade County crash

DADE COUNTY, Ga. (WDEF) – The Georgia State Patrol has identified the victims of that two-car head-on collision in Dade county yesterday afternoon.

The crash occurred on Georgia Highway 301 near Mile Marker 2.

GSP says Chevrolet Camaro, driven by 23 year old Destiny Cagle of Bryant, Alabama, was traveling north on Georgia 301 and was negotiating a curve.

Officials says the Camaro crossed the center line of the roadway and struck a Nissan Sentra being driven by Zachary Evans of Henegar, Alabama.

Both drivers were killed.

20 year old Nathan Smith of Higdon, one of three passengers in the Camaro, was pronounced dead at a hospital.

24 year old William Wells of Ider is in critical condition.

19 year old Issac Wright of Higdon suffered less serious injuries.
