Officials issue water notice in Ringgold

RINGGOLD, Ga. (WDEF) – Ringgold Officials issued a notice about the contaminants found in the water, but they say it is still safe to drink.

The city says residents received a notice about the levels in the Ringgold Water System being postive for haloacetic acides.

The levels are point zero zero three higher than legal limits so they are required to alert the public.

They say that there is no need to find an alternative water source.

However, if you have a specific health concern, you should contact your primary physician.
