One in critical condition after shooting on Cannon Avenue

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – One man is in critical condition after another shooting in Chattanooga.

This one happened in the 2700 block of Cannon Avenue this morning.

Just before 10:30 Monday morning, 25-year old Tyrel L. Patton got shot while he was walking down the street.

With the help of witnesses, police have been able to pin point their investigation to a specific vehicle description.

Police Chief Fred Fletcher says they are asking the community to help them track it down.

“We are looking for a light grey or silver 4 door SUV with very dark tint.”

Right now police do not know if this shooting was gang related, but say it does appear the victim was targeted.

There is no suspect information at this time.
