One injured in shooting on Taylor Street

Chattanooga police are investigating a shooting that left one woman injured.

It happened at around 10:45 Sunday night in the 2500 block of Taylor Street.

Police say they were told there was a large group of women in an altercation at that spot.

At some point, someone pulled a gun and began shooting.

Police say one woman was hit and taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
