One Killed in Sequatchie Co.Wreck

SEQUATCHIE COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — Tennessee state troopers are investigating a wreck that killed a Dunlap man in Sequatchie County Friday morning.

The three-car crash happened on State Highway 111 northbound around 6:30 a.m.

Troopers say 41-year-old David Tucker was killed, after his car ran into the back of a Mack dump truck carrying sand.

Tucker’s car then slid across both lanes and came to rest on the median barrier wall. Another vehicle then slid into Tucker’s car.

According to a THP report, the dump truck was traveling slow with his emergency flashers on in the right lane.

That driver was hurt, but his injuries are unknown at this time.
