Ooltewah home receives heavy fire damage
OOLTEWAH, Tenn. (WDEF) — An Ooltewah family safely escaped their home from a serious fire on Monday morning.
The fire happened at a home on Linen Crest Way at 6:30 a.m.
According to the Tri-Community VFD, the fire caused heavy damage to the three-story home. Firefighters said there was also heavy fire in the roof line.
Crews evacuated the home, and no one received injuries.
In addition, fire officials said the family will temporarily be staying with friends.
The Tri-Community VFD Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating to determine what caused the fire.
