Organization seeks more foster parents in Chattanooga
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Partnership in Chattanooga says there is a need for more foster parents to help with the number of children who need foster homes.
They had to turn away 55 foster kids last month.
This means these kids could potentially be moved farther away from their biological family, making it harder to reunite.
Partnership in Chattanooga hosts classes for prospective foster parents. The classes that Partnership hosts are NOT to teaching you how to parent, but what to expect when talking on this responsibility.
Partnership has an upcoming fundraiser – “Dancing with the Stars” – event to raise money to help sponsor things like these classes.
