Over 150 Professionals Convene in Dalton for Pivotal Anti-Trafficking Training Event
The City of Dalton, in partnership with the Hamilton Health Care System, is taking a bold stand against human trafficking. This week, over 150 professionals from four states have converged at the Dalton Convention Center for a critical three-day training conference.
Over 150 professionals from four states gathered at the Dalton Convention Center to tackle this critical issue.
“This conference is aimed to make the people that are involved in office or the medical field how human trafficking works and also how to speak to victims and identify potential victims” said Communications Director for the city of Dalton Bruce Frazier.
Conference officials say the event focuses on recognizing signs of trauma and P-T-S-D, effective interviewing techniques and more.
I brought this back to our community and me being the forensic coordinator it empowered me to bring this same training to our community” said Ashley Cloer coordinator.
With support from local and state officials, this conference marks a significant step forward in their mission to create a safer environment for everyone.
