Overnight shooting injures two people in Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police say just after 4:30 am Sunday they were told that two people, a male and female, arrived at a local hospital with gunshot wounds.

Police say they spoke with two victims who are suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

The victims arrived at the hospital in a personal vehicle.

According to police,  the victims told them they were sitting in a parked vehicle when they were shot by an unknown suspect.

Investigators located the crime scene on Lillian Lane.

Members of the Violent Crimes Bureau are investigating this incident and following all leads.

The victims were identified as 23 year old Ivy Johnson and 26 year old Cordarrius Johnson.
