Parkridge Emergency Room opens in Soddy-Daisy
HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — The new Parkridge Emergency Room in Soddy-Daisy officially opened Wednesday morning.
The new ER, located at 9402 Reco Drive, opened at 7 a.m.
Parkridge said this facility has a fully functional emergency room. It has 11 beds and a specialized trauma room.
They added the facility can provide care for any type of medical emergency.
“Parkridge Soddy-Daisy ER is a vital investment in the health of north Hamilton County and the Chattanooga community overall,” said Chris Cosby, president and CEO of Parkridge Health System. “The convenient location will provide top-tier emergency services with access to a higher level of care for the Soddy-Daisy community.”
The newly opened ER is 13,000 square feet.
Parkridge said it “represents a $17-million investment in healthcare in Chattanooga.”
This is the first ER in Soddy-Daisy.
Earlier this month, Parkridge held a ribbon cutting for the new facility.
