PawPaw Ministry Provides for Less Fortunate During Frigid Weather
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – PawPaw’s Ministry, a community-driven organization, is on a heartfelt mission to ensure that no one faces the cold unprotected.
In the heart of Chattanooga, PawPaw’s Ministry is more than just a charitable organization—it’s a lifeline for those braving the harsh winter weather.
Volunteers distributed warm clothing, blankets, warm meals and other essentials to the city’s most vulnerable populations, embodying the spirit of compassion.
Founder and community leader PawPaw started this effort 6 years ago, driven by a simple yet profound goal: to make sure no one feels forgotten especially during the winter.
The founder, PawPaw himself, stated “The most rewarding part is seeing someone know that they are cared about. You know we all want to be cared about, but it’s a blessing to receive a blessing.”
From coats and scarves to gloves and hats, PawPaw’s Ministry ensures that those in need have access to warmth during the coldest months.
PawPaw’s Ministry relies entirely on donations from the Chattanooga community, and every item distributed tells a story of generosity. As temperatures continue to drop, the ministry has ramped up its outreach, focusing on neighborhoods most in need.
For the ministry, it’s not just about the clothes; it’s about letting people know they matter in times like these.
An incredible story of kindness and community on how this ministry is making a difference, one coat at a time. If you’d like to support PawPaw’s Ministry, you can donate gently used winter clothing or volunteer your time.
