Peachtree Sports Festival
ATLANTA (April 8, 2015) – The Peachtree Sports Festival, debuting in Atlanta at the Cobb Galleria Centre Saturday, April 25, 2015, today announced the speaker lineup for the inaugural family-friendly event. The Firestone Complete Auto Care speaker series will include: College Football Hall of Famer turned actor, Brian Bosworth; legendary Georgia Tech basketball coach, Bobby Cremins; SEC analyst and former University of Georgia quarterback, David Greene; former Atlanta Braves reliever, Greg McMichael and former UGA and Atlanta Falcons quarterback, D.J. Shockley.
The Peachtree Sports Festival exposes kids of all ages to a variety of sports with a full day of hands-on Youth Sports Clinics taught by professional instructors. During the 45-minute speaker sessions, the sports legends will share their personal experiences, reflections on the future of their sport, predictions for upcoming seasons and inspirational moments in their careers. Attendees will be able to interact with the speakers during a brief Q&A at the end of each session. The speaker series kicks off with Greene at 9 a.m. The full clinic and speaker schedule can be viewed here. Special autograph sessions with the speakers will be announced. By pre-registering to attend the Peachtree Sports Festival, youth participants will be entered to win the opportunity to attend the special autograph sessions.

Tickets for the Peachtree Sports Festival are $8 in advance and $10 at the door and can be purchased at www.peachtreesportsfestival.com. A portion of ticket sales proceeds will benefit Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta. Families who pre-register for clinics online will receive a free 4-pack admission pass. Festival sponsors, Allstate Insurance Company will support the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta organization by underwriting all Big Brothers Big Sisters from Atlanta and surrounding areas to attend the Peachtree Sports Festival for free.
The Peachtree Sports Festival Youth Sports Clinics will highlight 15 sports; including archery, baseball, basketball, fishing, football, gymnastics, lacrosse, martial arts, running, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball. Kids will have the opportunity to receive sports-specific training, behind-the-scenes insights, and hands-on experiences. The clinics will be staggered throughout the day, ranging in length. Additional fun, interactive activities include the Allstate Field Goal Challenge, Safer Georgia Wiffle Ball Field of Dreams free play area, the Bigfoot Monster Truck and vendor activities and giveaways.
