PEF College Knowledge Lunch & Learn

(WDEF) Anyone looking for help navigating the tough world of applying for college got some help Wednesday, thanks to the Public Education Foundation.
The PEF College Knowledge Lunch Break tackled college-related topics like where to go, what to study, how to apply and how to pay for it all.
Organizers say it’s never too early or too late to explore the options, whether you’ve just had your first child or college is only a few years away.
Stacy Lightfoot is the VP of College and Career Success.  She explained, "Many parents are kind of stuck in limbo and don’t necessarily know where to start with their 9th grader, or their 10th grader, or even their 11th or 12th grader about where their minds need to be around planning for college and what they need to do."
Part two happens Tuesday November 4th at 12:00noon.
It will take place at the SunTrust Bank building located at 736 Market Street in Chattanooga.
The sessions are free, but a buffet lunch is available for $5 per person.  If you’re interested in eating lunch, RSVP here.
That session will be titled the Top 10 College Financial Planning Mistakes Parents Make.
