Chattanooga Police investigate person shot in hip on Ocoee Street

Chattanooga, Tenn. (WDEF)-The Chattanooga police are investigating a shooting.

Police were called to the 24-hundred block of Ocoee Street around 4 p.m this afternoon.

They found a 25-year-old Prandell Haynes suffering from a gunshot wound to the hip. It is a non-life-threatening injury.

The victim did not provide information concerning how or why he was shot.

The shooting is still under investigation.
