Pharmacy theft suspect charged with driving truck through front doors

FORT PAYNE, Alabama (WDEF) – Police in Fort Payne over the weekend arrested a man suspected of driving his pickup into a pharmacy.

They got the call Saturday morning around 4:40 about a break-in at Kilgore Express Pharmacy.

They found that a dark colored pickup had run through the front doors.

They saw it back out of the store and flee north on Gault Avenue.

Police chased the vehicle down and stopped it.

The driver was 37 year old Jeffery Allen Nunn.

Officers say they found several brands of pills on him.

33 Oxycodone

475 Larazapam

256 Tramadol

21 Promethazine

The owner of the pharmacy says the pills are worth $1000 and the cost of replacing the front doors around $2500.

Nunn faces charges of burglary, theft and criminal mischief.
