Pikeville horse earns grand champion title in national competition

PIKEVILLE, Tenn. (WDEF) —  A Pikeville horse brought home a grand championship title from a national event in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

This past weekend, “MVP Maggie May” earned Grand Champion at the 2024 Gypsy Horse Registry of America (GHRA) North American Championship.

Along with winning grand champion, “MVP Maggie May” also earned six first place awards.

Horsefeather Farm said in a release that she was named overall Grand Champion over stallions and mares.

Horsefeather Farm went onto say that a mare winning this title is not seen very often.
