Pittsburg TN residents celebrate the 4th of July

PITTSBURG, Tn. (WDEF) Families and friends from all over the community joined in the festivities, eager to celebrate America’s birthday.

The celebration featured something for everyone. From bouncy houses for the kids, to delicious treats from local food vendors.  

The atmosphere was filled with joy and community spirit.

 “We are actually visiting the area; we were looking on the internet for fourth of July celebrations and found this. We saw the bouncy houses and fireworks, so we brought our kids out and we are visiting Pittsburg for the first time.” said the Taylor Family. 

Vendor Mary Salinas says she enjoys being around the community around this time of year. 

“This is a very tight nit community; everybody helps everybody it’s a bartering system. We moved here four years ago and were not going anywhere.” said Vendor Mary Salinas.  

This fourth of July celebration has truly brought people together in a spirit of unity and joy.
