Police arrest suspect in child shooting

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police have charged a suspect in the shooting Thursday evening of an eight year old.

A witness says the victim was in a vehicle in the 2100 block of Windsor Street with two other people when he was shot.

He was listed in critical condition last night.

Investigators questioned and then charged 28 year old Lebron Brown for the shooting.

He faces charges of Attempted First Degree Murder, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony, Possession of a Firearm (convicted felon), Reckless Endangerment, and Aggravated Assault.

Police are still trying to make their case.
