Police capture Moccasin Bend escapee

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga police have recaptured an escapee from the Moccasin Bend mental health facility over the weekend.

They called Robert Harris “dangerous” after he escaped on Sunday where he was being held for law enforcement on two counts of child rape.

A k9 officer spotted him Monday morning and pursued him into some woods near Signal Mountain Road.
