Police charge driver in deadly Amnicola Wreck Sunday

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga police have charged the driver in a deadly crash on Amnicola Highway Sunday afternoon.

A van exiting Highway 153 was hit by a Jeep.

The driver of the van, 59 year old Gregory L. Kirton was killed.

A passenger was also injured.

Now investigators have charged the driver of the Jeep.

36 year old Timothy J. Nerren faces charges of DUI (on narcotics), Vehicular Homicide by Impairment and a red light violation.
