Police charge suspect in Collegedale Pharmacy break-in

COLLEGEDALE, Tennessee (WDEF) – Collegedale Police charge a suspect in a pharmacy break-in.

It happened Saturday at the Thrifty Medplus Pharmacy on Ooltewah Ringgold Road.

When officers arrived, they found that the rear door had been forced open.

A witness told them about a suspect running from the scene and jumping the fence to the Collegedale Greenway.

They gave chase and found a suspect hiding in the woods.

Then they brought in a K9 and tracked a second suspect who ultimately got away.

30 year old Joshua Lamar Crowell from Madison, Alabama was arrested.

Police determined that the suspects never got into the pharmacy section and nothing was taken, before the alarm sent them running.
