Police investigate possible kidnapping attempt in Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Chattanooga Police Department is investigating a possible kidnapping attempt that happened early Thursday morning.

Police say it is very early in the investigation so details are limited.

Officials confirm that an adult victim has been located.

They also say they have a person of interest detained.

That person is being questioned as well as possible witnesses.
