Police investigate Southside shooting

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga’s latest shooting happened overnight just off Main Street.

A 21 year old male suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound around 2:40 AM.

It happened in the 1400 block of Rossville Avenue, at the parking lot between the Choo Choo and several Main Street businesses.

Police investigators say the victim was involved in a disorder.

He said he tried to leave the area and heard gunshots, then realized he had been hit.
