Police investigating burglary find cell phone containing alleged rape video
SNELLVILLE, Ga. (CBS46) – Our sister station CBS46 has learned that police investigating a burglary of a stolen gun found a cell phone containing an alleged rape video of a South Gwinnett High School student in May.
Police found the juvenile suspects in question on May 5, a day after the reported burglary.
As officers were searching the suspects, they found a cell phone containing a video of 17 year-old Cameron Richard holding the stolen gun.
Another video showed the alleged rape of the student that reportedly happened on May 3.
The alleged rape happened in a parking lot off of Skyland Dr. The parking lot is not far from the high school and is owned by the Gwinnett County Board of Education.
Police say four males and a 16 year-old female left school to do drugs. In the video, police say the victim appeared to be unconscious and non-consenting. They say she was raped by at least two of the male juveniles as two others watched.
Richard, along with two 15-year-olds and one 16-year-old were arrested and charged with rape. Richard was also charged with possession of child pornography.
