Police say gun, knife, pizzas taken in aggravated robbery

CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF) — Cleveland Police say the SWAT Team was activated after an aggravated robbery involving a pizza delivery driver.

It happened Friday night shortly before 9 p.m. at the Blythewood Apartments on Stephens Road.

Officials say the 911 caller told them the Domino’s delivery driver was unconscious with minor injuries.

Cleveland Police say the delivery driver reported a handgun, knife, and pizzas stolen.

According to police, officers were told the robbery suspects may be in a nearby apartment but officers were unable to make contact with the individuals inside that apartment.

That’s when Cleveland Police’s SWAT Team was called to the scene to negotiate.

Cleveland Police say soon after SWAT arrived two individuals came out of the apartment, and police were allowed in.

Inside that apartment, police say they found several other individuals as well as the stolen handgun, knife, and pizzas.

According to Cleveland Police, 18-year-old Kevin Bowens, 22-year-old Marques Jimerson, and 19-year-old Matthew Garman were arrested and charged with Aggravated Robbery as well as Criminal Conspiracy.
