Tonight’s power outages after the storms

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Here are the power outages that local companies are reporting around the Tennessee Valley tonight after the latest storms:

65 outages

1,400 customers affected

The largest are in Lookout Valley and Graysville, TN

VEC

Volunteer Electric reports more than a thousand outages in their service area from the Georgia line to Kentucky

The most are in McMinn County where approximately 370 people are out of power.

SVEC

Sequachee Valley Power west of town report 127 outages

The worst is in the Griffith Creek area on the mountain west of Whitell, with 85 outages and Elder Mountain with 28.

North Georgia EMC

82 outages

4877 customers

most are west of Rocky Face/Tunnel Hill in Catoosa County & a section west of Resaca.

Georgia Power

Georgia Power reports outages in Chickamauga and Wildwood.

They have a few dozen people out on Sand Mountain in the New Home area.

And more than 400 people out on the mountain west of Trenton.
