Prosecutors ask that Xbox shooting suspect have bond revoked
CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Suspect D’Marcus White was in court on Tuesday.
He is charged with robbing and shooting a UTC student who was trying to sell him an X-box at a Hixson apartment.
Prosecutors told a judge that he should revoke White’s bond.
They argue that his arrest for the murder violates his probation for another assault case last year. He was granted diversion in that case.
But the fill-in judge did not rule on that today.
White will return to court in two weeks.
He remains in custody for now on the bond.
But if the judge rules he violated the bond, he will not be able to get out before his trial.
