Quick work of fire at Tennessee Baptist Children’s Homes

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga firefighters were called to the campus of the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Homes Friday afternoon.

They found flames in the basement of one of the buildings holding the commissary and cottages.

Everyone had already been evacuated, but they did have to rescue a cat.

Crews had it out 20 minutes after getting the call.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
