The Rage Room offers one-of-a-kind experience

CLEVELAND, Tenn (WDEF) – The rage room in Cleveland, Tennessee, offers guests a one-of-a-kind experience that is a fun and safe way to express yourself, by smashing stuff.

“In simple words, you just break stuff. You just destroy things. We have things from as small as a bottle to a 60in flat-screen television,” says Conner Hamilton, owner of The Rage Room.

Cleveland Native Conner Hamilton and his wife Anibel have turned a dream into a reality by opening up the Tennessee Valley’s first rage room.

“I’ve grown up here and I’ve seen Cleveland grow a lot. I think it’s still growing. We’re at a point where the younger generation is starting to step up and that’s what we really wanted to be,” says Conner Hamilton.

The Hamilton’s say the pandemic has really shown a light on how important mental health is and they believe the rage room is a fun way to let go of any pent-up frustrations or emotions.

“It honestly relieves so much stress, anxiety, and frustrations. There are so many benefits. You don’t have to just come for mental health but there are so many mental health benefits that come out of it like feeling that euphoric therapeutic experience. Almost like you are on cloud nine,” says Anibel Hamilton, owner of the Rage Room.

“If a safe and controlled environment where people can confront their traumas and fears or whatever they are facing in life. To where it’s as simple as smashing a television where you can’t do that at home without getting in trouble somewhere,” says Conner Hamilton.

Just where do the Hamilton’s get all of the things for smashing?

Besides donations from friends, most of the items are from the Habitat for Humanity of Hamilton County and they give the rage room items at a discount, in return for 10% of the Rage Room’s proceeds. It’s a great partnership that’s a win-win for everyone.

The Rage Room offers several different packages and memberships. For more information about this unique new place, click here
