Record number of voters early vote in Volunteer State

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – A record number of Tennesseans headed to the polls early to get a jump on the Super Tuesday primary.
More than 18,000 people took advantage of early voting in Hamilton County.
That’s nine percent of all registered voters in the county.
But it wasn’t just here.
The Volunteer state set a new record this year.
More than 380,000 Tennesseans voted through Tuesday, which was the last day for early voting.
